The coral reefs of Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia are the most biodiverse marine ecosystem on the planet. There are more species here than any other coral reef on the planet. This video was shot in southern Raja Ampat, near Misool Island. I'll be returning on another charter to this amazing area in January 2016. There is a mix of natural light with Magic Filter and Light and Motion Sola dive lights. I used a tripod for the macro and fixed reef shots (always being extremely careful to place the tripod on sand, causing no damage to the reef). Some of the species featured include: Manta Ray, Hard and Soft Corals, Black tip reef shark, Silversides, Trevally, great schools of damselfishes, Christmas Tree Worms, Shrimp Gobies, snappers, titan triggerfish feeding, Napoleon Wrasse, Reef Octopus and of course a couple of SCUBA divers ;) - Why not join one of my trips and get more from your diving...
