I went with a great of divers down to Tavernier, FL in the Upper Florida Keys for the opening week of lobster season. We made some awesome dives, caught a lot of lobsters, and saw some really cool stuff. This video was filmed with a GoPro Hero 3 and Backscatter filter. I hope you enjoy it. Great Video!
I can only assume the people who gave a thumbs down were upset about ripping the tails off the lobsters while still alive? Some people will anthropomorphize everything, these are bugs people "ooops sorry Hindus". They must freak out when seeing grass mowed. There are studies that say grass feels pain too.

Don't know why you got a thumbs down for this video. It's excellent. Thanks for sharing your adventures. We are looking at moving to Key Largo and wanted to get an idea of the fishing/shellfish catching. You guys made out like bandits. I am also from Louisiana but have lived everywhere else due to military. Time to retire. Thanks again for the video. Hope you guys get to go back again soon :)

Jamie, have you tried the Polar pro switchblade filter and macro lens? I just purchased one for the Hero 3 Black edition for our up coming trip this year... Your footage looks great! Counting down the days to August!!

Haven't tried any of those. The red works pretty good between 20 and 40 feet, after that it doesn't really matter if you have the filter or not. Try shooting in Protune mode so you can edit the colors in your editing software. Just look at the color of the water and drag your color correction wheel to the exact opposite color.
