+Jan Beushausen i hadnt in Aus but i learnt my lesson and got myself both red filter and video light, although i find video light sifficient. i will upload some diving videos in next several weeks. so, stay tuned ;)

Hi,
why everything is so blue? Is this how TG-5 records video in underwater mode?
Have you tried to post-process color balance?
May I know your settings?
Did you have WB set to minimum?
Did you have stabilization on?
If I ever buy TG-5 (or TG-6 next year with bigger sensor), it definitely needs wide angle lens.

+Biedrzyk73 hi! Even with underwater mode, it is still blue esp when i go deeper. I tried to post process slightly bht if i attempt too much, colour gets way too distorted... i cut the parts where the footage is stable. I just got red filter, and will get video torch (and possibly L or U arm) and will upload more diving vid in Oct and Nov :) stay tuned.

Hi, I am looking to get the Olympus TG-5, can I check what is the set up that you are using to shoot this video? Any advice what other accessories is recommended to include for a better shot/video? Thanks

Next trip still not set yet, I just got my AOW so I'm still a newbie :P. Aiming Dec & also hope to have the new toy (TG-5) ready for my next dive :P. Where will u be going in Oct/Nov?

Ya, wanted to know more before investing :) however the reviews are from ppl who don't dive. That is why I checked with you since your video are from the experience of a dive using TG-5

Hi, ok do info me after your Oct/Nov trip. You can check out this list provided at Olympus website; http://www.olympusimage.com.sg/content/000090013.pdf I'm looking at the following to go along with the camera; a) Electronic Flash UFL-3, b) Short arm PTSA-03, c) Optical fiber cable PTCB-E02, d) Wide conversion lens PTWC-01 However I am not sure whether the above are necessary.

But for my next trip, i am going to actually try 4k and high speed video (120fps) in early oct. I have also bought a cheap red filter so i will test that. I think investing in a nice video torch, etc, would be highly recommended. Something i am looking for myself. For better diving video, i am kind of considering L or U shaped holder... but then it may make everything too bulky. Stay tuned for more reviews in Oct/Nov when i go on more diving trips :)!
