The music covers up the less than stellar audio. I'm with you though - hearing the water and the diving is cool. I had some rattles in my housing setup though that got a little annoying on their own, and I'm not enough of an editor to work around them in a more clever fashion.

giclee101, keep in mind that I was shooting with available light, and no filters for color correction. At depth, the colors may be there, just not visible due to the filtering of sunlight from the surface, and how the camera perceives them. That said - I don't have anything really to compare to. It was my first time in the GBR, and sadly, I don't get to do much ocean diving in general.

The problem with that is that there's a lot of rattles -- the camera is hard-mounted to the handle I made, and the lanyard I used has a metal ring that gets picked up *very* well by the camera's mic. I would have preferred to have more of the real sounds in there, but it would have gotten annoying real quickly with much of it being mechanical rattles instead of calm bubble blowing.

@zivbrin I used a flat port sourced from Mako spearguns for these.
