This reef is a short walk from the Riviera City Beach. There are a total of 50 pods in two locations that make up the Riviera Reef. This mitigation reef took a little over two years to construct and was completed in the summer of 2011. Since it's completion, some of the western pods of the Riviera Reef have been covered in sand. The reef is about 300 feet out from the Riviera Beach / Singer Island shore and sits in 12 to 18 feet of water. On a clear, claim day, you can see Riviera Reef from the beach.
