The diving focused on the coral reef system of Apo Island to the west of Mindoro (often called Apo Reef to avoid confusion with Apo Island near Cebu), The Philippines. Despite the recent passage of Tropical Storm Washi, the corals were largely intact and conditions were otherwise generally good.
