Kevin Phillips : Ok. We wear wet suit in Indonesia. The coldest water I've experienced was 23 (celcius). Angelsey is definetly in my bucket list. I really enjoyed your underwater videos.

francesca sutisna The water is around 15 degrees C - we usually wear dry suits in the uk and it does not feel cold.

No Royal Charter is just off the beach in Moelfre, not a protected site - but if you find something you would need to notify the Receiver of Wrecks.

Thanks for replying. Would you need a licence to dive on the Royal Charter off Anglesey?. Doubt i will ever do be able to do anything like that, because i am not a very good swimmer and have not swam much in my life and i am almost 40 now, so i guess its too late to learn to dive. Nothing wrong with dreaming though right :-).

Yes - as long as its not a protected wreck (in which case you need a licence to dive it) you can use metal detectors in the sea.
