@john tran u need a saw blade with a fine or high TPI. That's all... You can use a hand saw or power tools whatever is available to you or whatever you're comfortable with... And I would recommend that you keep you blade well lubricated so ur saw doesn't keep getting stuck... Cuz then it has a chance of snapping the acrylic.

I just wanna say, the way you're using your saw while supporting underneath with your hand is VERY UNSAFE! You can and will eventually cut yourself. Just as my dad. He lost a small bit of the tip of his finger by improperly using his table saw even though he new better. Please, please, please use clamps to for support and to hold your work piece steady! Power tools are no joke!

@MD Fish Tanks Don't encourage trespassing nor taking things which do not belong to you. If you find something on the road side or in a garbage dumpster, that is one thing, but going onto a construction site or someone's property to scavenge things is another.

So it's an 8 watt led T8 with 6000k temp. Not sure on par and lumens not stated on the light but I'd estimate it at about 600-700lm based on other lights I have. Hope this helps.

Is the light just a normal led light or is it specifically for plants?

Normal LED. All my tanks have normal LEDs and as you can see from the other videos...they have no trouble growing plants. Most plants are really not fussy when it comes to light.
