What's powering the pump?

+IflyC17s Thank you for the question. The pump is powered by 115 Volts/ 60 Hz AC electricity. Depending on what size waterfall or stream you desire will depend on the size pump you will need and how many watts and amps that pump uses.I hope this helps.

Thank you for your comment. There are different kits for different size disappearing waterfalls. Our smallest disappearing waterfall kit we carry is 4' long x 14" wide. Another idea for a smaller water feature would be a bubbling rock or overflowing vase. You can see examples of these on our Youtube channel. These are easier to install and we sell faux rock that is very light weight and natural looking. I hope this helps.

During hard freezes that last a while, you will want to remove the submersible pump and drain the plumbing. If water is left in the tubing during a hard freeze, the tubing could be damaged. Where we are, it will freeze hard for a couple of days, then the temperature will warm back up. With this type of situation you can just leave the waterfall flowing and nothing should freeze. Just watch your water level and enjoy the ice sculpture it provides. Thank you for your question.

I live in the Netherlands and it snows here and freezes. What type of steps would be necessary for this product in my situation?

Normal yellow expanding foam will work if no other life will be present in the water feature. However, the black waterfall foam will blend into the construction and be much easier to conceal.

The expanding foam used to insulate windows and doors is very similar but has poisonous toxins in it that will harm aquatic life. The black waterfall foam has been formulated to be safe for aquatic life and it's black so it is less noticeable in the water. Unfortunately I'm not sure who you would contact in your area to find the black waterfall foam but I'm sure most stores that carry water feature supplies would have it.

What is black foam exactly? We dont have this in denmark. We have a similar product used to insulate windows and doors..

This package comes with everything you need to build your pondless waterfall minus the water, rock and concrete blocks and runs $1,001.25 w/free shipping (as of 6/14/2012).
