2012年2月22日にレイアウトされたW120cm×D45cm×H60cmサイズの流木水景です。この流木レイアウトは基本構図となる凸型構図を用いて流木を組んでいます。今回は発想を変え、流木の位置を決め、その下に石を置くという通常の制作行程とは少し変わったレイアウト方法で制作されています。また、セミナーの参加者から水草の植栽量を抑えたレイアウトをしてほしいとのリクエストがあり、天野はどういうレイアウトをしたのかもポイントです！ ■今回使用した水草・佗び草一覧・グロッソスティグマ・スタウロギネ・レペンス・アヌビアス・ナナ"プチ" ・佗び草ピンナティフィダ（参考品）この水景で使用されている素材グッズの詳しい情報はADAホームページまで →http://www.adana.co.jp/jp/products/ This is a driftwood layout with a size of W120xD45xH60cm, created on February 22, 2012. I believe its anubias nana petite on the rocks, staurogyne repens on the outer layer of the center ring, and some kind of baby tears (dwarf or regular) in the center. and maybe some java fern in the back.

With all of the talk about his workers and his character: He employs these individuals; they are there to assist and learn first-hand from him. That in itself is a great privilege. You have to remember that Japanese culture also comes into play. There is a high level of respect for elders and experts.

oliver knott has no hability, he makes "planted tanks", amano is making art. and they´ve perfectioned it at the level which he have studients who work with him to watch and learn compositions, arrangement because they respect him, this has nothing to do with money

Ansari you are 100% wrong, japanese workers is a lot more expensive than european. The reason why Amano have so many assistant is merely cultural. If you want a bunch of people with cheap one, go to my country :)

the resone are simple why oliver knott and james have not much workers around like takashi. becouse he is in japan with lots of population and cheap workers. and in europe workers cost lots of. so simple . they saving more money.

Check it out James Findley's videos. He carries big soil bag, stones etc. He even clean the glass of tank by himself. Theres no helpers around him. (no scared and worried helpers)... Oliver Knott also same, very humble... Amano is really good in his works. Actually amazing. But i dont like his behaviour to his own staff.

I was going to say the exact same thing. He makes beautiful things but now that I've seen most of his videos I can only come to the conclusion that his character is much less appealing than his tanks. Respect for nature, sure, but no respect for the people around you. Such a shame, Amano-san.

Anyone know if the ADA aquarium with red plants (like rotala) he uses only metal halide? i have a tank with metal halide 10000k and my rotalas are green.

Hey look! This is something very rare with Amano - to try something new. In the last few years there have been about 2 or so layouts that are truly new for him. As you can see the tank is not a great layout from the very beginning. It looks contrived and something is missing. This is what happens when you try to not play by the rules. It will be interesting to see the future "temporal change" of this aquascape. This is a very interesting experiment indeed!
