Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is right next to the CN Tower. The spectacular Aquarium features North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel with more than 5.7 million litres of water with 9 general galleries. There are over15,000 marine animals, from sea and fresh-water habitats from around the world, 450 species of fish and invertebrates. 1 species of reptile (sea turtles), 5.7 million litres of water, in a 12,500-square-metre building. There are 50 live exhibits with more than 100 interactive displays An impressive entrance leads to the CANADIAN WATERS GALLERY with 17 curated habitats. Signs and displays help visitors learn about the history and life cycle of the different species around the Great Lakes and coasts of Canada.. RAINBOW REEF features exotic colourful fish from the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It's mesmerizing to watch the parade of fish swim in peaceful groups. DANGEROUS LAGOON with 2.5 million litres is the largest exhibit. The moving sidewalk moves visitors through different areas as sharks and other manacing creatures swim all around. DISCOVERY CENTRE offers opportunities to get inside a pop-up bubble to get close to animals or to pet some of them. The GALLERY features six salt water and three fresh water exhibits totaling more than 50,000 litres with a variety of delicate species from around the world. RAY BAY features dozens of rays from three distinct species. They glide through the water like birds. PLANET JELLIES has backlit and colour-changing displays featuring five species of jellies LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEMS showcases the life support and filtration equipment used to maintain the Aquarium along with real-time stats and information about the water quality and conditions.
