ive tried looking online for quarries, landscaping bouldes, garden centers, rock yards. i still cant quite find the right stone. the closest thing i found was granite rip rap.

This is a good tutorial. Could that new pump attachment allow all the crud that accumulates at the bottom of the straight into the pump?

Looks like it could. I think I would put some filter pads or something around the intake. But that pump looks like it could handle some junk going through it.

My goldfish hide too since I haven't had time to sit by the pond. I recently moved the rocks around in the pond so I bet they're mad about that. I actually have a frog that will let me walk right up to it but the others jump into the pond. Every animal is different.
