Thanks for answer. 1500gph per foot will give a good flow over the waterfall as a comment further down says the feature in the video was set to 3000gph. My question was really I suppose how deep and wide can the maximum of the stream be.. I think I've worked it out.
Capacity of the basin= 106gals
The basin needs to hold all the water in system if it is turned off, hence it needs to be at least 2x the capacity of stream, so stream can contain 53gals maximum.
Assuming a max stream length of 16' as per kit, 22" width of stream the depth can be worked out:
16 x 1.83 x Depth x 7.48 = 53gals
Depth = 53 / (16 x 1.83 x 7.48)
Depth will be approx 3"
I suppose the answer really is, the stream can be any width (after the spillway) as long as the 53gal capacity is not breached.
Have I got this wrong?
Cheers Bob
