That's correct, I usually replant the tops, if there's room for them.

Don't you have to snip the tops of them right down to encourage them too grow outwards rather than upwards? If so, can the bits that i cut of be replanted or do you chuck them away?

It's nothing special, take the appropriate length and plant it with a tweezer.

You said you planted heavy to keep away Algae, but seeing how few plants you actually put in seems so little compared to the size and amount that I have but I cannot get rid of this brown algae all over my leaves. I use CO2 and HO lights. I also use a fertilizer regimen. I just can't get rid of the algae.

Using BOWL will leave a round mark on the substrate once you remove it, coz BOWL is heavier than plastic bag or paper towel. Think again.

Easiest way to add water to a set up is put a BOWL in the tank on the Substrate and pour water in the bowl, it will not disturb the Substrate

Thanks. I had it to prevent the water disturbing the gravel. I just took it out after filling up a bit, nothing complicated. I'm using just ordinary sand from a company in Sweden.

Nice vid, couple questions though. I am assuming the paper towel is to prevent damage to the plants? How would you take it out after? What kind of sand/gravel are you using?
