Le Artemie sono piccoli crostacei d'acqua salata appartenenti al genere Artemia, unico genere della famiglia Artemiidae. Metodo di allevamento da seguire: 1 - bottiglia con foro sul tappo collegato ad un tubo e con piccolo foro sul fondo, tappare il piccolo foro sul fondo e riempirla con soluzione salina al 3% ovvero 30gr di sale marino o artemia salt disciolto in 1 litro. Chiudere il tutto. 2 - immettere le uova di artemia, capovolgere la bottiglia e collegare il tubo del tappo ad un areatore o pompa pneumatica di modo da creare costante movimento (ricordarsi di applica una valvola di non ritorno o di posizionare la pompa più alta della bottiglia). 3 - Attendere la schiusura delle uova esponendo alla luce, 24/36 ore ad una temperatura di 25° celsius o 48 ore a 20° celsius. 4 - Dopo la schiusura, spegnere l areatore, tappare il piccolo foro di uscita dell aria e capovolgere di nuovo la bottiglia, attendere la separazione delle artemie vive dai gusci almeno 5 minuti. 5 - Versare il liquido con solo le artemie nella vasca di accrescimento, nella quale dovrà esserci una miscela di acqua e sale sempre al 3% (120/130 gr di sale in 4 litri di H20), collegare un sistema di movimento anche in questo caso. 6 - Dopo 2 giorni possiamo iniziare a nutrire le Artemie con cibo liquidi apposito ed in seguito con cibo solido oppure Lievito di birra in polvere ( attendere sempre la completa scomparsa di acqua torbida prima di somministrare di nuovo). 7 - Somministrare le artemie saline appena nate agli avannotti oppure attendere la loro crescita per somministrarle ai pesci adulti.
