im just starting a red sea max c250 and wondering if you think id need another flow pump or wavemaker to grow some soft coral and have a few small fish.

Hey Randy ! Softie tanks don't really need a massive amount of flow, so you may be fine with just one power head. I would try it out for awhile and watch your corals to see if they are reacting happily and that the detritus from the fish is being carried up to the overflow and out to the filtration. If it is not, you can always add more! :-)

Does this rock only come in them huge pieces and very small pieces? I have a 10 gallon I am making into a nano reef and I don't want one big chunk

What kind of glue or epoxy did you use? I'm also going to try and cure my live rock for a month in hot water like you suggested in another video. So do you suggest I dry the cured rock and epoxy it? or do it while it's wet?

+Jutta Maier Thanks, I really liked the way it turned out. This rock is really easy in that sense, it goes together like lego's. Nice thing about this one is it isn't so much a wall in the old school "rock wall" sense. I generally find the "pile of rocks against the back of the tank" type of aquascape tough to work with, can make it hard to get good flow back there and you can end up with dead spots.

I used the reef saver rock. It was pretty good except that one of the rocks was really dense without many pores. The others were super porous.

I was wondering how easy is it to aquascape the Pukani vs. the Reef Saver? The light weight Pukani will obviously offer more surface area for bacteria to grow, but I'm not sure if its rougher texture will fit together as well as the aquascapes you make in this video. Any chance that you could make another aquascaping video using Pukani? Thanks!
