What kind of fish are the pretty orange ones in your tank? Your scapes look great. I am thinking adding CO2 for the first time. What equipment would you suggest for a 20 long or 40 gallon breeder? I was planning on either a 5 lb or 10 lb cylinder. Hope that I am not taking up too much of your time with these questions!

Debbie Clayton hi, thanks for watching. They are Ember Tetras. Very nice fish. You should be fine with a 5lb cylinder. You can also check into getting a mini CO2 regulator from nilocg.com. It works really well and is less expensive than the dual stage stainless steel regulator. If cost isn't an issue than go with the dual stage. Personally I use an inline CO2 diffuser from Green Leaf Aquariums. You can find them cheaper on Amazon or you can use a classic in tank ceramic diffuser.

I just got blind sided by bunch of hair algae on my Christmas moss. It's a very tiny tank 2.6 gal. Any suggestion on how to handle it? btw, nice vid

Thanks for that. I just did a water change and trimmed bunch of the moss along with the hair algae. Will definitely reduce photo period. I prolonged it to increase other types of algae for shrimp and snail to feed on, but they were not tackling the hair algae so...

These mosses....do they continue to grow attached to wood by the main stem or they attach only where you applied superglue? And the remaining part of the moss remains free.....?

It will attach, but just not as strongly as other moss types, such as Java or Fissidens.
