When is the best time to learn surfing with middle length boards? And what is the name of the song?
Can you make one for short boards? Would be very appreciated
i think part of my problem is that i haven't got enough speed behind me and also my pop up is still a little erratic and at times i end up being left behind by the wave.
i ride a longboard 9ft6 (120kg or 264lbs with a lot of volume, but i have had to relearn the popup as i had originally learnt by using my knee. problem is, is when it's steep the knee is less-efficient.
That feeling is totally normal. Our advice is to start with smaller waves. The more you do it the more comfortable you will get and the more comfortable you will get slowly moving to bigger waves. Also, if you go for a wave, the more you commit to it, the better it will go. The hesitation is usually what leads to wipeouts.
Everything is meticulously broken down, and really reveals how critical timing is. Probably still a number of things I didn’t realize so far (or not able to analyze)
It will certainly help me progress much faster next summer !
Thanks for the post
