One time I was over at an outdoor "restaurant" and we saw cute little birds on a wooden fence. Then a roadrunner came by and eyed the birds. Before we knew it, the roadrunner jumped onto the fence, grabbed a bird, and ran off with it in it's beak. Amazing sight, wish I could've gotten it on camera.

They really do resemble dogs, especially when you look at their eyes, you can see the facial expressions of a dog. I am almost 100% certain that these creatures indeed, used to walk on land, and evolved from some dog-like creature!
