That looked so awesome! I did a trip like that in the Brisbane but most of it was just a slog, 2 kilometres straights of flat, open water. So keen to do a trip where there are a few more cool rapid sections to tackle on the yaks. Great vid again Andy!

+RC COOL there are. They are Saltwater crocs, but most people say that they aren't this far up. I think they could be and in time unless some get culled they will most certainly move up that far. You are never croc safe in northern Australia, while fishing in creeks.

+Sonny Jennings I use 14lbs, you could go as light as 10lbs or up to 20lbs, for me it would depend on what else I want to catch with that reel.

+Midwest Fishing Show yes, we didn't even start counting, as after about 6-7 fish I tend to lose track unless it's something really special. I once counted 61 bonefish at Christmas Island in a single afternoon. I wish I had been filming back then!
I'm not sure how Sooty's taste, they would go off in the kayak all day.

+StuntN187 I actually do, almost every trip. They just don't seem to work that well for me. Just yesterday I spent an hour first thing and didn't get a looker. You don't see it on the video because that would be pointless to show no fish or strikes. Trust me, I want surface action on my videos.

+Pondguru thanks Richard. No I've made yet another different head mount set up. If/when you ever get over here, I'm taking you to this spot/river. As Neil said to me just yesterday, we skipped the best parts because it was getting dark. Expect more big fish next time. I fear the video may be a bit long to get good exposure, but we'll see.
