Is the depth of the motor adjustable or a fixed depth? It looks it is set pretty deep which would preclude fishing in shallow water i.e. 2 foot deep on the saltwater flats that I fish.
I have a PWM unit that my friend built for me last year using a Minn Kota 30 lb thrust motor.. He built the whole thing including integrating all the electronics. It has adjustable depth control and uses an AGM battery for power. I have had hip problems and was unable to get it out for a test ride. Had a new hip installed and recovering and hope to get it on the water for a test ride. Watching your video makes me want to try it real soon.
