Its certainly got negatives like overall size and maneuverability. Obviously cost is a major one too.

But if you’re like my buddy who has never kayak fished in his life, his first year he has a Wal-Mart Lifetime kayak and he had a blast and we caught a ton of fish and now he knows he’ll use a 2-3 thousand dollar kayak the rest of his life. Long story short they all float so go have fun and catch some fish.
