lucky that boat didn't wrap / fold and that there were two good guys standing by with a length of tape. Good clean rescue as far as i'm concerned and i'm not sure what all the complaints are about.

If i were the guy in the boat, i might have popped and gone for a swim rather than sit in the thing hoping it does not fold up on me but in the end it all worked out nice.

Don't be mad at others just because you've never had the courage to do something that scares you. I'm not sure how much experience you have with whitewater safety, but that was a very fast and clean rescue, considering the situations. The paddler was not panicked, he remained very calm as he waited for his friends to help him....the right thing to do! Only through paddling harder whitewater and having good judgement can one become better. You shouldn't be so bitter, you'll live longer :).
