Looks very cool... I'm particularly impressed with the 'safety ring' for wild-life protection. Seems like they should make such safety rings mandatory... (and I'm not a great fan of making many things 'mandatory'...)

This is a small trolling motor mounted in a molded holder with its controls made into the battery box. Nothing extra exciting here except the extreme over pricing.

That's what I thought too...now you gotta register a kayak as a motorboat with the state...and on top of that, because it's a motorboat, you now need a boaters license. And even more, you have to have the certificate of origin/title paperwork for your kayak as if it was a boat to get it registered (most kayak owners don't have paperwork). What a nightmare!

As kayaking continues to become more popular, I suspect crackdowns on kayaks with motors will get more intense. I believe this is why pedal platforms will take off...they're competitive to a trolling motor setup in terms of speed.

perfect solution to boards and kayaks. but have you done your marketing homework at all ? product priced at $1600 where small vessels and Paddle boards cost only a fraction of that. you need a Steve Job to sell this for sure
