About Fishing Kayak Setup - Boating - BCF

The reason I ask is that I don't want to put any unnecessary holes in my kayak and I could get away without having to do so IF I settle for an anchor trolley that runs from midway (centre carrying handle) to the stern... (well... about a foot from it... but close enough I reckon...)
As I'm a newbie to the sport of kayak fishing, I'd like to hear what your thoughts are on this... As a more experienced kayaker do you think such a set-up would be adequate...?
