Can someone help me, I'm going Kayaking in turkey soon, And i'm not sure what mount to use. I can't use a helmet mount so that is not an option. But which would be better out of these 3. Please reply. Option 1) Chest mount. Option 2) Suction Cup. Option 3) Flex Clamp. Thank you in advance for those who reply.

Depends what type of kayaking? For white water go chest, the pov shot is awesome and the chest allows you to see the paddle/arms for some context etc
If sea kayaking/touring suction cup at either end as the scenery and kayak are the interesting object.
Remember to use the rule of thirds, frame the shots well and just have enjoy!

It's a stick to put your Cam on, I think you have to build the mount yourself, or at least apply it to the Kayak yourself.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could give me a description of what was used to get the flying cablecam shots, how was the camera controlled, and how did you see where it was pointed. Information about this would be much appreciated, as I am filming a local kayak race, and the competitors have agreed that this type of shot would be best.
