I have a lower back problem so I cannot twist my torso while paddling so when I paddle it using low angle paddle and my arms. I also only paddle from my toes to my back.
The farthest distance I have done with this method is 40 nautical miles.
So you are showing a prejudice against those like me.

Joseph Mullin if you practice the torso rotation it will strengthen your core and back muscles. I have chronic back pain, and in addition to that I had back surgery in 2017.
