@sportsmantv great video. i have fished GI in a PA 14 and found the mirage drive hit the bottom more oftern than not. Yall did seem to run into that issue? Where is that deeper water in GI? Also what Rod and reel are you using?

After about 5 minutes of commercials I started tapping the right arrow button to jump forward... There is actually less than 5 minutes of actual fishing in the "YAKIN FOR REDFISH" video. I didn't plan on watching a fat dude on a couch just "TALKIN BOUT YAKIN FOR REDFISH!" which should be the title of this video.

actually where you launched.... on the side of the road! Its private property from the tower about 2 miles past fourchon, past the pits on side of the road where the abandoned cranes are, past the black gate, all the way to the canal that you cross over on the 1st little bridge you cross on your way to the island. I know because I OWN IT. There is a share of the 3200 acres for sale though on louisiana sportsman.

I don't know what the laws are in LA, but where I live you can't own public access roadsides or waterways connected by rivers or the ocean. If public taxes paid for the road, or pay for the conservation efforts of that waterway you cannot legally own it. You can own the property around them but there is a 15 yard easement from road to property or water to property that are fishable/parkable by the public.
