+War Eagle Besides being nice and metric (which we Canadians are fond of!) centimetres are also the global standard for measuring kayak paddles - so we stuck with that for the video.

this doesn't make sense for length.
If your yak is this wide then you should use this size paddle but if your height is this then you should be using this size paddle and if your a aggressive, medium or light paddler then you should be using these lengths. :/

Dude, could you possibly reshoot this video using inches instead of centimeters? Or use both, but consulting a conversion chart while trying to keep up with your chatter wasn't easy. I quickly moved on to other resources.

Sorry you found the conversions distracting, Ava. Besides being nice and metric (which we Canadians are fond of!) centimetres are also the global standard for measuring kayak paddles - so we decided to stick with this as opposed to converting to a unit not commonly used for this gear.
