Really?! No dry bag for yous sleeping bag? Thats asking for a cold and wet night.

+richie smith I have been using Sea to Summit Event Compression dry Sacks for my sleeping bag and clothing - it is a dry bag but also with compression http://www.kayakshopaustralia.com.au/sea-to-summit-compression-dry-sack/ and it hasn't leaked yet! However in a wet environment and wet kayaks for added protection I would not use a dry bag (as they are not dry!). We waterproof our sleeping bags and clothing by lining the stuff sack with a heavy duty trash (garbage) bag -twirled up tight and knotted - see video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGk1L8BzvG8 - enjoy your kayaking!

+renotyuk DO not do as he did, and pack you sleeping bag without a dry bag. thats crazy. Clothes toif poss, but always out your SB in a dry bag. Get out on Loch Lomond for a start. Truely amazing in the right conditions.
