I was looking at your gear and was wondering how the 4.4 ah battery is working for you?
I was going to buy the 10 ah battery but if you’re getting by well with the 4.4 ah that may be all I need.
I grew up on the upper Mississippi. I was real young back in early 70's and would try to snag cats that were 5 to 6 feet long, they'd come up to sun themselves in the damn overflows and I never did catch one. I guess they were 200lb to 300lb fish. Met an oltimer years later and got to talking about them days. He said he and his buddies fished out the area sad enough. Used to use the winch on their trucks to get em out of the water.

Need to use a BIG hook 7/0 to 9/0 is what I usually have on. Pylodictus olivaris have ginormous mouths... & so does Ictalurus furcatus... a 3lb. Catfish can get the whole bait with that big hook into it's mouth easily. SIZE UP...
