California is actually hot. The area around the SF Bay Area can be cold and windy but it get warm. The Central Valley is a hot oven during the summer, Southern California is also intensely hot, not to mention the Mojave Desert. We have deserts, snowy mountain ranges, hot and cold weather. Not sure if you’ve never been to California but weather can be diverse.

6:18 ... Dave just threw you right into the fire. I have paddled under that thing many times with him and it's almost like a Pirates of the Caribbean tour. Sometimes you can see rats running across the pipeline above you. If you tip over wall under that thing.

You'll come out from under one peer and then go under another building. And then you'll come out from over by the Willie McCovey statue. It's really quite an epic adventure
