"not a throwback design". Really? Have Jackson heard of the Dagger Outlaw? Outlaw has a plaining hull and a squirty stern. Only real difference is the volume of the nose.. Its a throwback design, which I'm not complaining about. We need more of these boats.

does anyone have hands on with this boat that can answer a quick question? is this boat good for teaching kayaking from? How is it for in boat rescues etc? I want to buy it but do not know if it is a good platform to instruct from?

Jan Chris Just took mine down the class 5 Wenatchee Fucking AWESOME!

It's wide, and it at times feels like a saucer on the water, but you can play the hell out of it all the way!

I do recommend sizing up on your paddle by one size when river running. Your "height standard" size is perfect for play boating it though!

I tested the antix and the axiom. Antix has more volume on the bow but it makes it also slower then the Axiom. For heavy WW the antix is better I think

WhistlingMushroom the axiom actually does have a decent volume in the bow and is great for boofing, maybe not as good as the antix but close enough

But dagger axiom has also low volume bow (bow and stern balanced) and is not so good for boofing. Antix has little bit more from creek boat I think.
