What is the largest Flexi leash that will fit in the recess? You are using the 16ft. But, will the 23ft fit? I plan to install a front anchor system, as I fish a smallish creek. Stationary positioning is critical to success. And, with wind, I can get blown into the bank before I finish a retrieve.

i have a boat with low back bucket seats. its cool for a while but i'm a tall guy and i'd really like to have some high back bucket seats. might there be an option for that on the coosa?

I'd like to see a Coosa rod tip protector similar to what the Cuda has because rivers can be just as mean to rods as mangroves. I think my rods hold equal value to me no matter what I'm fishing for or from. The tip protector could be molded right into the hatch lid or made to be removable. I may attach some black ABS pipe to the hatch that will allow me to slide the rod tips inside to keep them safe from river banks, overhanging trees, or capsizes. Not as pretty as JK made but functional.

whats a good kayak for offshore here in florida for tuna wahoo and sailfish and mahi mahi? that will paddle easily for long voyages and will handle rough water ?

Thanks Drew for the reply! I took it out today for another 4 hours caught 6 large mouth a cat fish and a giant sun fish! Also, there was no water in it at all today, when I took it out the other day the hull was really wamr and humid and the water was cooler so I'm guessing it was just sweating on its first day lol. But today it was awesome! Thanks again for the reply!

Just got my coosa and I love it! Spent 4 hours on the water yesterday and it was awesome! Only question I have is that when I was done there was some water in the hull, I weigh 145lbs and am 5'8 so I don't think it was down to much, just curious as to if it was normal to have water in the hull I'm new to kayaking and there was probably about 1 liter or so

@RiverBasserDrew doesn't slip much, after long rides, you just notice that the seat has been inclined farther back due to long rides and laying back. I would say about 1/2" or so, and you'll have to pull it tight again, I found that tying a knot at the end tends to slow it down, had the same problems with canoe seats like these. (its the adjustable straps for the inclination of the seat).I've added some buttons on the straps and button it on. now i could layback and paddle on a certain incline

don't like the chair adjustment straps, it slips and you have to keep readjusting it. there should be some kind of stopper so it doesn't move. I have to tie a knot after each adjustment, besides that very well all around, use it in the windy conditions of the BWCA

Excellent vid. So many kayack/canoe ads just show people catching fish. In other words the emphasis is on the fish not on the features of the boat. Also the lighting was great. I got a lot of information from this. I like the lock features on the wells. Also like that I don't have to twist around to get tackle. Under the seat works well! Do you put fish on a chain? Also do you make a model to hold a trolling motor Thanks Jon

The rod holders dont work for fly rods. Apparently you have to drill holes in the boat to mount an aftermarket holder.

I love the grainy look of the film in the beginning with the guitar overlay. The boat detail is so simple and informative, a novice angler like me can understand. Very impressed with the 360 turn and thanking the heavens for a place to store my Starcrunch! Fabulous job Mr. Gregory!
