Yeah Its easy hike very short run can do laps on it. To me one of the best runs In all of CO.

yeap. that's a first. that would be a weird sensation when your stern is gone and your feet flying over your head like that at the bottom of the drop. it's a blessing it didn't happen in a worse spot really. that's just not something I would have expected plastic to tear in such a linear way ever. it's literally totally out of your control.

First off, good response to an unexpected situation by all involved. It looked like the paddler had trouble exiting the remaining hull. I have a couple of questions. Was the back-band still in-place after the break-up? Had that boat run a lot of stout drops in the past? What age / model / size kayak? Thanks
