Well, I decided to try and explore this morning. Try new areas, new fishing locations and use new fishing gear and tackle. I was finally able to test the new Cajun Rod I picked up a week ago as well as some new Down South Lures and Texas Rattlin Rigs. Overall, a pretty decent day of exploring, catching good fish and just having fun! Arron Arevalo I really like it. I’ve used a few abu’s and shimano reels, I like this one much better. Casting is great, power is nice and very smooth.

+Come On Reds Fishing I fish that exact rig when "croaker soakin'"... works great going into the grass flats and calling those sows out. tried it with a jighead and DSL and showed a lot of promise

Come On Reds Fishing the chatter weight can be moved up and down the line if you put slack in the line. It slides up and down but stays in place when the line is tight. That would definitely work.

+Texas Fishing Force Was thinking of making like a Carolina style worm rig with a DSL for the shallow grass flats. What you got there is kinda like what I had in mind, but the weight about 2 feet up from the lure.
