The easiest light set up for your rig, go back to Harbor Freight and get a towing light kit with magnet that you can plug onto the trailer plug from your truck

Easy solution... buy a real American Truck in lieu of slant-eyed Toy!!! Learn to weld & you could build it for under ten bucks!!! Much faster than this damn video!!!

Here's a thought; hang taillights, run wire inside tubing & drill small hole near receiver hitch for wire exit point, splice/wire nut/solder male flat trailer plug to it , plug into trailer lighting, got brake/turn, running lights. #2 - Remove license plate from truck, mount license plate holder on vertical tubing with license plate light, you would have to mount & remount license plate each time you used bed extender but you won't get hassled by cops night or day.

oh, there's a girl in a thong?
I've been married awhile, i'm more interested in the processes regarding the kayak. After you've been married awhile, you are permanently "in trouble", until she tastes the fish you caught.
After spending all the time rigging and prepping for hours on end so she doesn't have to do anything except throw out and reel in.
yet, one gets married & is permanently "in trouble" !
She's wonderful, until, she says....anything audible!
While prepping the entire adventure, you're trying to provide, and have fun at the same time....and include her while,
she isn't doing schidt!
Or for a "milking the cow" reference... you enjoyed the milk (adult relations_), without finding out that the cow had psychologically crippling Issues extending to long-term psychosis, with northern mentality BS, & a need for A/C regardless of homeoclimatisizm vs natural gulf A/C and wind... prior to getting hitched.

I added the magnet taillights only $9 from Harbor Freight secured with zip ties for extra support. I like the idea if outdoor carpet glued to the bar as the pool noodles don't last very long.

I have the same bed extender and use it to haul two 14' Wilderness Systems Tsunami kayaks. For the mandatory red flags to mark the rear of the yaks, I used red reflective tape and D rings. I first made a core of two strips of duct tape sticky side to sticky side around the inside of a D ring. Once I had the core, I covered it with the red reflective tape. The D rings hook right on the rigging at the stern of the boats. They get your attention flapping around at night. I also put reflective tape on the extender.

I have had one of these for years. I've found that a strip of indoor/outdoor carpeting , glued to the top of the bar is VERY durable and won't break down in the sun as the noodle does. hth

I have this extender, what harbor freight doesn't tell you is that if you reverse your trailer hitch bar with the short end into the trailer hitch this make a great ladder rack as well, this is a great item. thanks for this video

Wrap an old towel around the back bar on each side and use a couple straps to hold them down...works better than pool noodles. Also remember to adjust back bar slightly higher than tailgate before loading the kayak.

I still use it when i have to take multiple kayaks. For 39 bucks its defiantly worth it . It will eventually rust tho. Mine is still going strong!

Just got this extender at Harbor Freight yesterday for my kayak. What did you use to attach the pool noodle to the bar, zip ties?

Honestly I would just use the extender. The pool noodles on mine wore out fast and i couldn't keep them on . I used zip ties though.

In the website harbor freight said it is 15" wide? My kayak is 31" wide. Yours looks wider is that right?

hello, I got the HF bed extender when I got my hobie AI, tried the pool noodle on top but needed something better so I added some yakama hully rollers with some custom mounting brackets it was a huge improvement easy load & unload. check out my video kayak386also the hammock idea was great too.
