If you can't afford it buy something that fits your budget.
Have you seen the price on folding bikes compared to regular ones?
The light weight is great for people going to inaccessible areas as well.
Definitely would like to test one out.
It's a bit on the expensive side, especially if you consider what it's made of, it should be way cheaper then that. Guess gotta pay for the few of these that they will buy, because be honest, if your gonna spend money on a kayak your gonna spend money on a decent normal one, while it's very cool, I don't see many people thinking it's worth it.

But I am not elderly I way 260 lbs and am 6 ft 4 in and I love the ocean so no.
"oh it's about in the middle"
Yeah if you count the several thousand $ carbon fiber ones. I paid 550 for mine, and have put it through hell, and haven't had a problem. The pros of this over mine : it's lighter, and it folds down really small.
Mine is faster to setup once I carry it to the water (put the seat in, screw the light/flag on, connect the paddle strap. takes about a minute). The color on mine is an olive drab color, so it's easier on the eyes, and you can put stuff on it such as an anchor trolley. I can see why this one appeals to people, but with me having a truck, it just isn't worth it.
