i would be too scared to ever try this :( i got nervous over having to navigate around some hidden rocks that made the water move faster in florida...to be fair i had my dog with me so i was mostly nervous about him.

Can you use a recreational kayak on class2 rapids if you used a spray skirt? Or do you need a more manueverable kayak?

This is a great float!! I have done it several times.. Their is a nice Starbucks in the REI you can warm up with!

Not too impressive really. Wear a helmet, bad press for Confluence Rental when their sponsored "boaters" don't wear the proper gear. Even a little Class II river demands respect. "Just sayin"

we had no idea 3 years ago when we filmed this, the renal place that has the duckies for this river park said we didn't need a helmet...now we know better.

this was our first time to do whitewater in a kayak, much different than the lake or ocean. good times though, and a great way to ease into it.

This was our first inflatable kayak and it was a blast. We ended up floating a class 3 river in Quebec with a 'ducky' too and it was sick dropping into 5 foot falls and the rubber just bending all over the place. Loads of fun for sure.
