Great video and music! Going to try to get down there soon. I do quite a bit of kayaking in the Charlotte Harbor, Florida area with the harbor, Gasparilla Sound, and Pine Island Sound much like a miniature version of the ten thousand islands - it's great for day trips. I have a few videos of my trips here on my own youtube channel. And the gators don't bother you if you don't bother them or their babies.

Not many mosquitoes. sometimes noseeums at dawn and dusk and when its cloudy with no wind on shore. The mosquitoes come back with the rainy season and depending on how much it rains in the fall can last only till very late fall or Christmas.

Your description says "Winter and Spring." Did you have an issue with mosquitos? I LOVE the Everglades, but I usually go in the Summer or Autumn, and the mosquitos are a BIG headache. Trillions of them !

Everglades NP and the Southern tip of Florida is the only place on earth you can see both alligators and American Crocodiles.
