How do you mount the PVC pieces in the bottom of the kayak? THe parts that the seat attaches too?

In the video it looks like you have about a 2 inch PVC in the scupper holes which fits into the PVC coupler which is part of the seat mount. If this is true are the 2 inch PVC glued in the scupper holes?? I have always wondered to save wear on the scupper holes could a person attach rubber chair leg caps on the PVC in the scupper holes.

+Swerv32 Those are pipe clamp mounts for use in attaching to house framing. just half round clamps. The pvc legs sit right in the scupper holes..
