when you are around and IN hard object.. you cannot predict what may hit you in the head or get wrapped around your limbs.. If you think as you do then the statistics will prove that most drownings have the same immortal thoughts as yours. Best to be safe then wishing you had one on.
And I am sure there are NO "swimmers passing you" when you are fishing far from shore.. LOL!

i know my limits and my environment. i kayak where surfers and swimmers play in the water. try to think outside of the black and white world you live in. I'm no more at risk then the guy swimming passed me... without a pfd!

Yes, we will be there June 1st for the remainder of the year. We will start guiding over there June 1st. Doing 6 months there to see how we like it.

+dihappy No, I wear sunblock and I wear way more clothes than this. I was in the process of putting everything on when the fish hit. That's why I have the pink buff around my neck. Had to stop to fight the fish.

Nice Catch! I noticed you are using both gopro and contour. I have always been a big fan of contour and never used a gopro. In your opinion how do they compare?

+BacKLasH FishinG The Gopro has become my main camera. We have gone through 4 contours. They just don't hold up the way the go pro does and the video quality is 10 times better with the go pro. The contour started to lose audio if we put them underwater. So we just went back to go pros.
