Brilliant idea ! We will have a better planet, when we have such nice ideas.
Such plastic is already proven to be unsinkable and resistant to sea water :-)
Another good thing would be to have legal tags on the nets for each ship, so that when we find a net in the sea, we can charge clean-up fees for the people who dump trash into the sea.

Porque o planeta interessa ...estas ideias são fantásticas!! Aqui implícita a lei de Lavoisier "na natureza nada se perde tudo se transforma" aplicando-se ao plástico que abunda e é o maior poluidor e tanto mal faz ao planeta e a sua diversidade!! Isto de inovar é a concepção das ideias descobrindo-se soluções!! Para tudo há remédio ...só não há remédio para a morte das espécies entalhada em plástico não é? Parabéns a mais um sonhador!!

Well done to him. Every new plastic product created should be made almost entirely of recycled plastic. After all the science showing how bad plastic is for all organism health including human bodies, no more virgin plastic should be created.

I admire what he does but don't think I can do the same. I do enough for this planet by taking care of my own trash and putting this where it belongs. Cleaning the pig's space is making space for them to continue dumping, having responsible people collecting the trash doesn't solve anything.

There should be more drastic solutions in USA, it's called FINES or JAIL TIME.
