Awesome footage and music score. I'm new to kayaking and have been on the Mad, Little Miami and Great Miami Rivers in the Dayton, Ohio area, which are awesome in my 10.5 recreational kayak. I'll be on the Buck Creek this weekend after they've open the dam to lower the lake's level, and it will be interesting because the water will be so much higher. One day, I might have to come up there to your area but I'll need a whitewater kayak before tackling your creeks and streams.

I would love to hit these spots with you guys sometime. I've done a lot of kayaking but nothing that extreme. Headed to paint creek on 7/29/14. Hope conditions are nice!

Is creeking or hitting falls that big in a playboat a good idea? I'd have guessed you were risking a good thrashing at the bottom of a falls in a low volume boat like that, but I'm most certainly a WW newb so I don't really know for sure. Those flooding conditions look kinda scary. edge to edge water with no easy takeouts and the high possibility of debris just seems sketchy. Still, looks like you guys were having a blast, stay safe!
