Here's a question I hope you can help with? I'm disabled and 70-100% paralyzed from the chest down. Balance is not good. Standing up is hard to do on spacemen the much less water. I want a sit on kayak with widest beem for fishing inland saltwater. Any advice or suggestions would help. I broke my neck in 3 places thus the paralysis.

The way you describing your physical condition and wanting to fish inland saltwater, I think you would be very well served by taking a look at a Jackson Kayak Big Rig which is rock stable at 37" across the beam and excels at inland saltwater fishing. You could also look at the brand new big brother of the Old Town predator 13, The Predator XL which is 36" across the beam which you can get with the Minn Kota Saltwater console which would be ideal for someone who has physical limitations for hands free fishing or even the Hobie Pro Angler 12 or 14. Just remember anytime you add a trolling motor, it has to be registered in most states just like any other motorized craft. You did not mention where you from, But look around, as just about every Kayak Dealer has Demo days to try out the models you interested in before you end up spending money.

Another Predator 13 vid. Seems my Predator mx 12 footer isn't very popular. The 13 has a more cluttered deck than the 12 without the console to trip over. I took it out for the first time today ... started easy, then headed out into the middle of Fish Lake, MN with a 10mph or faster breeze and a good chop. Tracked well ... paddled parallel to swell with perfect stability.

I'm near 120 and 16 yrs old now and bought me one of these with my birthday money and i fish all day in this . I have yet to tip over and I've reeled in big sturgeon in this thing at it barely dragged me that much . I'm in love with mine and hoping it lasts ! I approve and recommend !

Whats the paddle resistance? Is it easy to paddle or is it a little restricted? It looks to be a kayak with a little bit of resistance but since I have yet to see one in person I would not have a clue.

I would like to see it compared with other kayaks like my old Prowler 13. Same paddler, same technique, same conditions. I looks like a barge compared to what im used to. Before I spend the money on a new yak, I would need some real data. I was actually considering going to something a little more narrow than my P13 but show me hull design has improved where something this wide will cover the same distance in the same time with the same effort and I'm sold.

im gonna get the MX cause the 13 has that annoying floor pod, i wear a size 14" shoe and that would get in the way, bass fishing small lakes, ponds, NO moving water but the MX should be perfect for that

so far thats a pretty nice yak. i like how u show n detail how stable the yak is. it gets annyoing when all u see on youtube is people just showing the features of the yak. i want to see performance n how well the yak can handle. im gona get my 2014 hobie sport soon but just how u described this yak makes me want to just get it. keep posting great vids.

The seat does not come out entirely. We do not have any MX available at the moment.. Our order will be coming in mid October. We didn't have any water come through the plugs either. Great boat!
