THIS BOAT DOES NOT HAVE A SPRAY SKIRT THAT FITS IT. PELICAN INTERNATIONAL IS CANADIAN BASED AND CUSTOMERS HAVE COMPLAINED THAT THEY ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO REACH. I PURCHASED A SO CALLED UNIVERSAL ONE FROM A HONG KONG BASED COMPANY CALLED MONKEYJACK, BUT IT DOES NOT FIT THIS BOAT.

Does anybody know how much you can get this Kayak for when Dicks has a sale?... And doe's anybody know where you can get a spray skirt made for this kayak to keep water out? The skirt would fit around the cockpit opening where you get in.

what is the difference between the trailblazer and the maverick besides the $100 gap?

Could someone tell me the $80 difference between the regular Trailblazer 100 and the Trailblazer 100 "Angler"?

if you get it on sale, the difference is closer to $50-$40. My hubby got the angler, I got the regular, he has two flush mount rod holders behind the seat, other than that there are no other "feature differences", also the first time out his seat is becoming detached, mine is loosening up, that is after two hours, this is a solid light weight kayak (besides the seats), yet very basic. The flush mounts are great to have, yet they have to be sealed around the edges as they let in water from the paddles, I was mostly impressed that the water line was very close to the same on both even though hubby weighs twice as much as I do. We choose these because of the big opening fits larger people (hubby) and I am switching from a canoe, and prefer it, we both fish and I also plein air paint, but most important that it is one of the lightest yaks out there while still being sturdy. there are indents and markings on the kayak, indicating where the factory would have put in any "feature differences" so it would be easy to follow those markings for any upgrades, though I don't know if that would effect the warranty or not.

As far as I can tell, pelican doesn't make one, but there is a company out there that does make one that will fit... I just can't remember their name ... sorry.

Yes, we do, it is sturdy, for being a sit in. though I wouldn't stand in it like a sit on top, I am also old, so that might be more why I wouldn't.

It is the oval area beneath the hatch as depicted in the video. When we describe it as a large area, it is relative to some models that have 4 or 8-inch day hatches.
