I have heard the rod holders behind the seat are kind of shallow and don't hold rods that well. Would you guys happen to know if some kind of wedge adapter will fit in them?

Some people add on PVC extensions into those holes and add sticky wrap to them to hold them in place.

Saw one of these yesterday. This boat would be ideal for fishing rocky creeks. Low seat mode sets weight slightly forward, so the keel would not drags so much on rocks. Up/back position makes the keel more responsive for tracking. Seat is mighty nice, too.

how do you mount your transducer. do you epoxy it to the bottom?

im thinking stick the tips of your fishing rods under the front cover to stop them getting snagged up , and like in the vid the paddle too,, all kinds of ideas.

when you put your transducer through the scupper hole is there any protection for it? i cannot find any pictures of underneath the kayak

Lowrance has a kit specifically made for through the scupper hole mounting.

the transducer is protected. the kayak has a square cut out for it. im trying to figure out how to mount it.
