Nice video, and rolls in conditions! It looked like more surfing could have been had on those waves with just a bit more oomph at the right time - Is that tidal current amplifying the waves? We have a local tidal overfalls which has fairly similar waves in wind-against-current. Here is the most recent video, the other paddlers all had rolls and ski re-entries but it shows some required bracing at around 3:00 and some wave face-washes at 3:30-4:00 : https://youtu.be/on_jQprbY_

I was just looking for a video of someone rolling in rough weather to see how they coped with real world conditions, as opposed to in pools or calm waters, and the answer is "with consummate ease" (obviously with heaps of experience).

And this is calm weather... imagine that area with 45 knots wind, and large waves, say... against the wind ?

I was there in another life, maybe with the Glenans or when I rented a boat in Camaret, sure wouldn't come with the sailboat in the middle of these rocks.
