A thorough description of the custom accessories I've made and added to my kayak. It's an Emotion Spitfire 8 Sit-On-Top Kayak Per request, here's a link to a video showing how I attached the stern light.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHZdhBJrAAI
This video was really well done.
Thanks for posting.

I came across your channel, and have been eating it up...!
this vid is by far the most inspiring one to me yet.
(kinda watching backwards...)
I've been wanting to get into kayaking for a couple years now...
Money, time, and other priorities have put a nix on me as of yet.
watching your videos has put the burn back into me wanting to get into the water and coastals up here around Savannah Georgia.
Thank you, for sharing your experiences and ideas.
Cheers.

Going to get the parts tonight
Just need to figure out how to piece it all together to make it work.
I found myself more enthralled by your ingenuity than the craft over all itself.
Question though, have you done a rollover test fully loaded?
being that I'm a big guy about 295 to 305 depending on how me week went, I have to get a more heavy duty kayak which means more money and more weight capacity. which means more ability to mod :)
thank you for your videos keep them coming

really enjoying your videos.
Inspired me to save up for a kayak, and also inspired me to learn how to fish on a kayak.
Im saving up for a kayak at the moment.
My daughter thinks you should design kayaks for a lving as well.
Thanks for sharing and always look forward to your videos.
Ur da "Common Sense Guru of Kayak World"....!!
Thank You a million times and 'Muchîsimas Gracias '....Joijoijoi....keep posting and I'll keep replicating faithfully.
The world needs more people like you.
Great work.
I need a web sight that will sell me just enough foam to make the fish pontoons out of. What size circle is it, how long is each fish, and what do they call this kind of foam? I need to get enough foam to mold the seat, make the stand up board molds and the "V" foam to rest the yak on when messing with the trolley. It is not like we have access to job sight scraps and are not willing to buy large scale orders. We live near Joplin, MO in a town called Carthage and have been told no in the stores we asked at.
excelent work
Thx really enjoyed it!!!
As an older fellow I believe the only thing I'd like to see would be a small outrigger/flotation system. your boat seems a bit top heavy,as you mentioned. outriggers can be fixed, collapsible or hinged. Fixed might interfere with landing fish. they wouldn't have to be full length (just a couple of feet long in the bow, where the height is). Another option- since you are rapidly approaching the "Law of Diminishing Returns"- is to start the search ,and budget, for a used 10' boat. Who knows, maybe you'll start "New Timer Canoes"..............good luck...............JRW
I know they weren't easy and I appreciate your time and expertise for the poor man..
Thank You from Old San Antonio.
Specially the magnetic tackle box on the go.
Not everyone wants to stop and wait to find a calm place to open up there tackle box and rig up a new lure especially in the Gulf.
You are the man.....
Why the Hell are you not working for Big Time Corporations......
You're ideas are great.. I would pay at least 800 to 1100 for a 11ft Kayak...
Thank You ....
Love the vids most of people who buy a $500 kayak and put $1500 in mods in it! lol
Give that rudder some slack and tie a couple cords to it so you can slip it left or right. Hand control or foot, you'd love it even more.

It is easy to go buy a hobie fishing kayak ( not cheap, but easy) You have done amazing things for a fraction of the cost.
I bought my tandem kayak for 100 at a used marine parts store here in key largo, fl. It is a sit in kayak. I have 2 kids under 3 that go with me sometimes. It already has two seats that are mounted on rails inside the boat but I find them wet and not as comfy as I need. So my quest is to find a better seat, possibly one that allows air under my rear so I do not get so soggy if you know what I mean. So if you or anyone reading this comment can suggest anything please feel free.
In conclusion, I appreciate the fact that you say you are giving back, what a nice gesture and you expelling so anyone can understand.
Good fishing! Jonathan
I made a video showing my kayak seat modification. I wanted to keep my backside dryer too.
