I've been searching for a kayak that I think would fit me. I'm roughly 6'1" 250lbs. Would this kayak be suitable for me? I plan on doing mostly perch jerking in the bayous of southern Louisiana.

perfect boat for offshore... 14-16' is a killer size range for beyond the breakers...

YES .. great all around boat... we took one offshore for the blue water kayak classic.. see 30milesout episode ... worked great.. fast for covering lots of water on the flats as well..ty

I add the fact that as a teen and early twentys I fished from a yak that doesn't compare to the new ones. Paddled a wildy tarpon 120 and 140 the other day and am hooked again. So much so that I'm selling my boat with a 3cyl two stroke 40hp tiller which I am into 10,000 $ but selling quick for $4,000. When it sells I'm buying yaks. Please reply.

I am looking at that kayak and the big game angler. Called Johnson , they won't make me a big game angler in any other color. Can't stand that bright yellow. I'm 292lbs 51 years old. Selling my Sea Ark 2011 1660mv super Jon to buy 3 yaks. Would the trident 13 be big enough. Stable enough and dry. Please reply

for offshore the bigger the better go 14'-16' .... or super wide like a cobra , malibu or a hobie...ty

about 6'.... 230lbs... should be ok.... trident 15 should be a little faster but a littler more cumbersome to load... unless you have ladder rack or trailer... if so, trident 15 would be killer boat...ty

Hey Ya'll I was wondering how tall Jesse is so I can compare the legroom. Trying to decide between this yak and the Trident 15. Think the 13 has enough room for a guy 6'2" and 260lbs?

@TheTEXASgamer you know I've been wondering what the difference was between the two, originally I was gonna go with the prowler version but got this one instead cause of the modular rod pod lid or does yours have it too? Let me know? BTW that's me in the vid that's why I'm asking. -Jesse- FishnTv
